Purchasing Officer
Sam joined the Fitout Solutions team in September 2022. His pathway into the construction industry has been a unique journey. After completing a double degree at Otago University in Music and Marketing, he spent three years at an Auckland-based advertising agency, Ogilvy & Mather. As an Account Manager, Sam has experience working with key clients such as Countdown, Pernod Ricard and Restaurant Brands, granting him invaluable experience in advertising communications and client management.
After answering the call of adventure spending two years Snowboarding, Mountain Biking, and Hiking in BC, Canada, Sam returned to NZ as Marketing Coordinator for Wanaka-based Merino Apparel company Mons Royale.
With the global changes of 2020, Sam changed pathways too. Returning to Auckland, Sam began a Carpentry apprenticeship working on residential renovation sites in and around Central Auckland. When the opportunity to join the fantastic team at Fitout Solutions as Purchasing Officer presented itself, it was an easy decision. He’s keen to help the team deliver the best results for their clients and create inspiring spaces.
